Day 28 - A picture of something your afraid off

Although I seem to give the impression I don't care most of the time, I really do and I fear a failing, saying that I think everyone does to an extent though, I'm lucky enough to not really fail at much in life I failed a few subjects but better things came of it so I got over it. If I do fail I generally just shrug it off and forget it, I've yet for it to stay with me, and hopefully *touch wood* I won't have to deal with it properly or have to work around it

Day 27 - A picture of yourself and a family member:

This one is nice and easy ok it's more than one family member;

Who's who: (top row, left to right): Cousin Matt, me, Cousin Dave

(bottom row, left to right): Cousin Andy, Meaghan (Dave's wife) their daughter Kylie, my Gran, Cousin Louise and her husband Lee.

This was taken when Meaghan, Dave and Kylie were visiting, (they life in America) once Kylie was old enough to fly and for the family to meet her, although she has no memory of it, I find the whole thing strange, there is this fascination with babies, aw well one of life's strange wonders!

Day - 26: A picture of something that means a lot to you:

In the sense of material stuff there isn't that much I could really put in this kinda thing, for me its more about memories and being with those who I love, bit something that means a lot to me is a sense of humor not only in other people, but in myself, although it can be quite warped sometimes, my humor has been able to get me through a lot and I'm fortunate enough to be able to see the bright side of most things, so this is one thing I found lying out on the street one time and it caught my eye straight away, I found it amazing that a company would do this and not notice, sadly it was taken off the shelfs within weeks of coming out, so I've kept it as a symbol that even major companies cock up now and then, and no matter where you are there is humor around.

Day 25 - A picture of your day:

I don't get to do this everyday, for one if I did I would quite likely get bored of it, I love going on random walks, just around Plymouth or something never anything special, but through the years doing it I've seen some really amazing and sometimes very odd stuff, this is a picture of Plymouth Hoe (yeah I know what a name for the cities biggest tourist attraction) but anyway its awesome up there if the weather is good and here is a picture showing that

Day 24 - a picture of something you could change

about myself personally there isn't much, one thing I'd love to do if possible is take away my dispraxia, or least of been diagnosed when I was younger so I was able to tackle it head on, instead of meeting it towards the end of the learning and growth stages of my life and work around it not with it, but I'm getting there its a slow process but its working smiles all round :D

The most difficult thing about this one is how to represent it in picture form, so I've taken a picture of an insole I have to wear in my shoes as it causes me to have flat feet as every muscle in my body is under developed and it takes the pain away from walking :)

Day 23 - A picture of your favorite book:

I've already mentioned by favorite book series so obviously it is going to be from them this is the second book "Lost in a Good Book" by Jasper Fforde, the second in the Thursday Next series, i haven't finished the sixth yet but between 1-5 it is certainly the funniest and action packed but 4 is a close contender, anyway I highly recommend this series, amazing does not describe it!

Day 22 - A picture of something you wish you were better at

I've yet to do a photo project where I don't include this, I love this picture whether its good or not I really don't know, but it's my guitar and I really want to be better at it. in fact I'd love to be good enough to be able to go busking, although with an electric it is a bit harder I may get an acoustic and see if that makes a difference apparently it does. I was originally going to put my squash racquet, but I'm pretty good at it :D

Day 21 - A picture of something you wish you could forget

This one is interesting to me in a few ways, I suffer from a very poor short term memory, but also the fact that I believe nothing should be forgot, even the bad stuff as you can learn from that, whether it's your own mistakes or those made by another, I believe everything happens for a reason and we gain from that reason no matter what or how upsetting it may be, I were to able to make myself forget some things I quite likely would, but then again I wouldn't want too as I've learnt a lot form those things.

For this one it's a picture of my big toe, this is to represent the operation I had on it nine years ago, for an in growing toe nail, I had one before but I had a simple injection and it went away, but this one got infected and I was in so much pain with it, it got to a point where I couldn't walk, and when I had this done I hurt so much and I had to have it done privately as at the time the waiting list for a simple 40 minuet procedure was over two years! If you look closely either side of the nail, you can see that it is perfectly straight, thats where I've had the ops thankfully this prevents it from happening again. Also had this done on my other big toe, it only hurt the first time, maybe because I knew what to expect from it, also wish I took a picture during one of the ops would of been a lot more awesome than this one but no matter!

Day 20 - A picture of somewhere you'd love to travel

This in a sense is very similar to a previous post, although saying that I have no idea what one I am talking about. Onwards with the post though I really want to go to America, any part really I wouldn't mind I'd love no matter where I went I think, and I'm going in February *epic happy face* going to New York for a few days with uni, so that'll be epically awesome :D Again much like some other posts I don't have any pictures to represent it so what I have done is took a picture of the results from google images when I type in New York.

Day 19 - A picture and a letter

Well since the last letter I got was a very long time ago and was also recycled a long time ago as well, for this post I'm submitting an email I got from a very good friend of mine, who was helping me out a lot when I was in a bad place, since it's the closest I have to a letter so here it is :)

I tried print screening but for some strange reason I cant copy it into the blog post so here is a picture of it :)although thats the whole point to take pictures, oh and also I couldnt get the whole thing to fit, even by zooming out the window on my PC it made it unreadable

Day 18 - A picture of you biggest insecurity

At last we are back to the interesting pictures, the kind of ones people actually take a somewhat better interest in reading, my insecurity and really my only one is my spots, the ones I get on my face are few and far between and I can in most cases deal with it and get on with my day but the one's on my back are another kettle of fish, I'm really aware of them and I avoid taking my top off in public if I can, making it sound like its a regular thing but I mean in places where its the norm such as the beach or something like that. I also find it kinda ironic that I'm posting my biggest insecurity but I think thats more the point of it, also took a few tries to get it right what with having to play with the power of reflection and shizz like that seemed to go ok though, also doing that whole taking a picture with your reflection thing annoys me but I think I can let this be an exception

Day 17 - A picture of something that has made a huge impact on your life

I don't know whether it's because I'm not really doing much with my life at the moment other than university and working for an iron fisted supermarket giant, or if I'm just a boring person but the only real thing that has impacted my life greatly in the past couple of years is university mainly because it's what I do and about 85% of the time is the only happy part of my week where I actually look forward to the day so here is a picture of my university, University College Plymouth St.Mark and St.John AKA Marjon

Day 16 - A picture of someone who inspires you

This is stupid, as the chances of meeting a person who would inspire one's self is quite slim, I find this even more difficult because there is no one who I can directly say inspires me, yeah there are people I look up too, but they are mainly my friends, in terms of inspiration I dont believe in trying to be like someone as that in turn will make you a nobody and a copycat, sure do something similar. For example I'd much prefer to read an author who claimed they wanted to be the next Tolkien then write about alien worlds and space ships flying around with a dash of rom-com for good measure, than read someone who says the exact same and writes about a wee dude walking across the land to destroy a ring with 8 of his friends. What I'm saying is you should take inspiration from whats around you rather than people who you admire, ok you can get a mix of the both but chances are it's one or the other.

If I had to name someone who for me fits under those both things I'd have to say Derren Brown I think he is one of the greatest performers in this generation and he is also a very nice man, even not feeling 100% he still came out to see us (the fans who waited after the show) to see us do photos and signings and even have a chat and answer some questions, So I say he inspires me in the area that even though he is one of the biggest names on British TV he still has time for those who have out him there, which in some "fame" careers is a rare thing so I have a lot more respect for this guy.

Day 15 - A picture of something you want to do before you die

To be totally honest with you I have no real big goal, other than the standard finish uni, get a decent job, have kids ect, as in something I really want to do as in life changing or to say I conquered something I don't really have much, If i had to say anything it would be to walk America, I love walking and I've never been to America and I think it would be an amazing way to see the country as it's so diverse scenically there'd be something different every few days or so

I apologise for it looking kinda crap as I've never been to America so have no photos of it and I dont even have any kind of atlas or globe so I've made a route on google maps its th best I can do.

By the way day 14's photo is coming (hopefully) I've just lot is somewhere and I'm looking for it

Day 14 - A picture of your favorite band or artist

Ok I got day's 13 and 14 mixed up but no matter either way really but I saw it as soon as a I finished day 13 and I couldn't be bothered to change it. Anyway this picture is of Paramore, I saw them in London O2 arena on the 9th November 2010, was by far the best gig I've been too, I'm not just saying that because they are my favorite band, but in terms of how fun it was and general crowd atmosphere I've never seen anything like it and haven't again to date so here is a photo of that night :)

A picture of someone you could never imagine your life without

Another picture with another one my of best friends, this whole thing applies to all of them but there is no picture with the 6 of us together and also the title specifies one person, so this is Abbie one my my closest and oldest friends, this was taken in a club when I went to visit her at her uni, and like my other best friends she has always been there for me and means the world too me so again thank you Abbie! :D

Day 12 - A picture of something you love:

This is my most favorite book series, the Thursday Next series by Jasper Fforde, these are books 2-5 (left to right) I didn't include the first book as my gran is borrowing it and she lives in Southampton, so it wasn't like I could of popped over to take a picture of it. Anyway I love these books more than any other book I have read before, it about time travel, book jumping (where characters can enter books and there jurisfiction which polices the book world) and dodos :)

If you love Sci-Fi mixed with humor with a hint of crime and insane parody humor, taking the mick out of the whole of English literature this is certainly the book for you.

Day 11 - A picture of something you hate

There isn't much I can say that I hate and something that I hate that can be depicted into a format of a picture makes it that even more difficult, but this is certainly one of them as it's just god damn annoying and I have no idea how it happens as it's more or less impossible, or at least you'd think it would be

I apologise for the piss poor lighting too, lighting in my room is pretty bad in the morning and the flash is making it all blue, mainly because my room is blue all over if I were a smurf you'd never find me in here.

Anyway I the photo it a mess of wires, I hate it when this happens, I keep them all neat and tidy then some how magically over night this just happens even if there were just the one wire here it would find a way to tangle it's self up it is quite possibly one of the most annoying things in the world and it irritates me like no tomorrow.

Another one of my best friends, this is me with my friend Drew. the title of the picture really kind of sums it's self up, the stuff we talk about and do is just so strange and weird we get funny looks and people avoid us and for some reason people keep asking us if we know where they can get some illegal substances, just because we like jaffa cakes does not mean we are pot heads!

Day 9 and Apologies

First of all I apologise for no posts over the past few days, I had some major tech issues, but many phone calls to Apple and a trip to Exeter later (I could only go this morning) it's all fixed so to make up for lost time I'm making quite a few posts today, thankfully all the photos are done and it's just a case of uploading them. I also want to say a massive thanks to Apple for their great help in solving the issue. Anyway to the main thing:

This is Alys my best friend (one of them) we've known each other for about seven years now, and she has definitely helped me through everything I've been through, whether I needed someone to shout the world too or just a hug she has always been there for me and always gives me time if I need her, even though she's away for uni at the moment we still talk all the time, one thing I love the internet for, yay for skype!

I miss her everyday and I can't wait till the summer :D

Day Eight - A photo that makes you laugh

Every time I look at this I laugh without fail it's one of my favorite photo's I have every taken mainly due to the fact this was headline news, and only this type of news could/would make headline in the city of Plymouth (where I live) Keyham is an area just outside the city a suburb if you will, Plymouth is known as a simple place and being cut off from the rest of the country and if anyone were to look at this picture as a first impression of the city they would certainly agree

This is my SLR camera, my dad gave it to me when I started uni in 2009 I didn't even know he had one, including the lenes too! When I learnt dark room too I used this for everything, it's too bad uni got rid of the darkroom so I can't use this anymore :(

But either way I love this camera as its a good camera in general but also for what it means to me :)

Lost is my favorite TV show and quite likely always will be, ok i know it isn't running anymore and the finale got a lot of bad feedback but in my personal opinion i think it was perfection.

Every aspect of it I loved, I could of just copied an image from the show's website but tha kidn of deafeats the point taking the pictures with solely a phone so I gathered up some of my DVD's I had and placed them on my desk and took a photo.

A picture of you and the person you have been closest with the longest:

This is me with my friend Catherine (Chaz) shortly after I moved to Devon in 1999 we became very good friends and have been ever since, out of all my friends she is the one I've known the longest, and I hope we will still be great friends in the years to come :)

This picture was taken in The Old Smithy, Ivybridge and i believe we were dancing to a song that came on the jukebox

A photo of yourself with ten facts:

1. I don't like the whole business of taking a photo of yourself to me it seems very strange, especially the whole thing of posing to a mirror

2. I've had 20 injections in my feet over a course of 4 operations and 5 in growing toe nails

3. Caffeine is made of Carbon, Hydrogen, Nitrogen and Oxygen - as are cocaine, nitroglycerin, morphine and TNT

(I'm unsure if it means about myself or just in general but either way I thought it was worth sharing)

4. I love interesting facts, the kind of stuff no one really knows, or more realistically no one really cares about.

5. When I was 14 I was hired to test a supermarket on how vigilant they were in the sale of under-aged products I got through the checkout 100% of the time

6. I have this really strange "sense" in my back, whenever someone is standing behind me I know if they are there all they have to do is move, even if they are completely silent I will know, it causes all of my back muscles to spasm.

7. I can do a stupidly realistic monkey noise, it really hurts every time I do it though so don't ask

8. I can't swim at least not properly I have extreme difficulty doing so

9. I hope I get to experience time travel, I'd love to have my own TARDIS, but even to experience going in my own time line for a short time would be awesome, I fully believe that it is/will be possible and is only a matter of time

10. In Kentucky, US it is illegal to fish with a bow and arrow (another random bit of information I find amazing!)

That was surprisingly difficult to come up with these facts!

However rather than using a normal point and shoot camera or a DSLR camera, since this is a new media module I shall only use the camera on my iPhone 4, in addition the photographs shall be "tweeted" with my twitter account, with two photographs a day, as each photo has been taken over the easter holidays, each photo will contain a small description of why I took it and how it is relevant to the post, I hope you enjoy looking at these pictures as I've tried to give a glimpse of my life and everything around me, as much as I've had doing this :)
